T-Shirt Ordering Guidelines

First Step: We ask that colleges, departments, programs, and student organizations first check with the Roar Store on campus to see if merchandise is available or if the Roar Store buyers can complete the orders for you. This will allow the stores to stock merchandise that individuals both internal and external can purchase. For more information, visit the RoarStore.

Non-branding t-shirts

All entities should consider non-branding t-shirts as a viable option for their events/organizations. Non-branding means not using the official trademarked identity marks and instead simply typing out the name of the university, department, program, student organization, etc. For example, a t-shirt could say ‘Augusta University Woodworking Club’ without using the logo. This means there would be no brand guidelines to adhere to and there is more creative freedom.

Branding t-shirts

Individuals must follow the proper approval process within their departments for use of any university marks. The products must be purchased through a licensed vendor. When ordering through a licensed vendor, the approval process and brand guideline enforcement is handled for you making the process smoother and easier. View a current list of all licensed vendors.

  • If an official university mark including spirit marks are used, the logo must appear on the front left chest of the tee. More fun/creative artwork can be placed on the back of the t-shirt.
  • If an official university mark is used, the shirt color should be on brand. Any type (secondary information) should be written in one of our approved fonts listed in the brand guidelines.

Use of official university logos in any way must adhere to brand guidelines.
